Bar Keeper - Barista/Bartender HENDERSON

We are now hiring for Bar Keepers (Barista + Bartender) for immediate work.  We are a high volume and fast paced Brunch restaurant specializing in latin comfort food, specialty coffee and a full bar. Hiring for both Full-Time and Part-Time positions. MUST BE 21 YEARS OR OLDER TO APPLY. 

The hourly wage consists of a base pay of $10.50-11.50/hour plus daily cash tips (Cash tips are approximately $80-150+ per day)

Responsibilities

• Prepares and sells coffee drinks by following recipes and preparation techniques for coffee, espresso and tea drinks
• Educates customers by presenting and explaining all of the beverage menus; answering questions
• Mixing cocktails, utilizing a range of ingredients including several mimosa flavors
• Maintains inventories by replenishing bar supply
• Stocking coffee brewing equipment; maintaining supplies, pastries
• Managing and organizing inventory for alcohol products such as beer, wine, and spirits
• Maintain cleanliness in a small workspace
• Follow health and safety guidelines while interacting with customers regularly and professionally

Qualifications

• A minimum 6 months of continuous barista or bartending experience; SCA knowledge preferred, not required
• Must have strong compliance and adjustability required for newly opening business
• Must be meticulous, understands the importance of time management and tidiness
• Ability to listen and correspond with co-workers effectively
• Must be able to learn new recipes and execute with proficiency
  
• Job will require occasional lifting of up to 40 lbs and ability to stand for long periods of time, as well as frequent and continual flexing and rotating of wrist and spine
• Willingness to go above and beyond expectations
• Health, TAM, and Work cards required
