Pool Snack Bar Attendant

Located eight miles from downtown Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, in the heart of the South Hills, St. Clair Country Club is searching for motivated and reliable Pool Counter Attendants to work our Pool Snack Bar for the upcoming season!

Great summer position for candidates with and without experience in the food & beverage industry looking to gain experience while enjoying being at our beautiful golf course.

Our Team is committed to providing the highest quality Pool experience to its 870 members and their families and guests. The Pool operates seven days per week, from Memorial Day to Labor Day. The aquatic center offers a swimming pool, kids pool, snack shop and bar. In addition to a busy pool season, the club has a competitive swim and diving team.

Job Summary

The primary role of the position is to provide food and beverage services to members and guests in a timely and orderly fashion.

• Greet and provide outstanding service with a smile to our members and their guests in a professional and courteous manner.
• Display teamwork and doing above and beyond to deliver excellent member/guest experience.
• Take food and beverage orders from our Pool Snack Bar and verify member name and account number.
• Enter members' orders through our point-of-sale system (POS).
• Work closely with Pool Management to prepare private parties, holidays, and swim meets.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the Pool dining area and behind the Snack Bar.
• Follow opening and closing procedures as requested by Pool management.
• Reconcile the register, close out receipts at the end of the day, and turn them into the administrative office.

• Good communication skills
• Weekend, evening, and holiday availability
• POS experience a plus
