HVAC Technician / AC & Light Refrigeration Services / Installation

Spectrum Air Conditioning & Refrigeration, Inc. of Ft. Myers, FL is looking for an experienced full-time HVAC Technician / AC & Light Refrigeration Services / Installation to provide excellent customer service for our clients while going into their homes and businesses to troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and provide maintenance for their air and light refrigeration systems. When appropriate, this position is also expected to propose new equipment replacements. Our techs can expect to earn a highly-competitive, skills-based wage of $30+/hour that can be negotiated.

In this service technician position, you can expect to work Monday - Friday, 7:30 am - 5:00 pm, or until the job is done, with occasional on-call work on nights and weekends. QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN HVAC TECHNICIAN / AC & LIGHT REFRIGERATION SERVICES / INSTALLATION

• Experience as an HVAC technician for 5+ years
• Previous system installation experience
• Proof of completed education from a reputable HVAC school
• EPA certified
• NATE Certification OR willingness to obtain it
• Can provide personal hand tools including manifold gauges, a multimeter, a leak detector, and a refrigerant scale
• Able and willing to work in all sorts of weather (both outside and inside an unairconditioned space in South Florida)
• Can lift and move heavy equipment
• Can twist and turn in tight spaces
• Pass a background check and drug screen
• Customer service skills
