Certified Welders

Thompson Welding has a great opportunity for an experienced certified welder. We are currently seeking a full time Welder/Fabricator. The ideal candidate for this position is someone who is familiar and certified with Dual Shield in all positions. The Welder/Fabricator is responsible for welding structural steel product using various equipment including welders, shears, grinders, torch, punch, plasma cutter, bending machine, and saws.
Attendance is very important, candidate must be punctual and have a good attendance record. Must pay attention to detail. Please bring valid copies of you're welding certs.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1-2 years welding experience as a certified welder in a steel fabrication company.
• Must be able to weld in flat, vertical, and overhead positions
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Must be willing to work in all weather condition (local to Sacramento area)
• Flexible and responsive, with strong teamwork orientation
• Ability to operate a forklift
• Adhere to all safety regulations and conditions
• Pass a weld test

Applicant should have a strong work ethic, a desire to learn, and be able to work independently and as part of a team. The pay rate will depend on the candidate's qualifications, prior work experience, and skill set.
