Job Title: Organizational Design Consultant (2 positions)
Location: Hybrid – Mostly remote with occasional travel to Tennessee
Period: April 22, 2024 – Oct 31, 2024
Hours/Week: 40 hours
Rate: $100-$115/hour based on experience


Scope of Services:

The Organizational Design Consultants will work closely with clients to assess their current organizational structures, processes, and culture, and develop tailored solutions to drive organizational effectiveness and performance. They will conduct in-depth organizational assessments, analyze data, and identify areas for improvement. The consultants will collaborate closely with client stakeholders to understand their vision, mission, and business objectives, and develop tailored design solutions to meet their needs. Additionally, they will facilitate workshops, conduct assessments, and develop detailed organizational models to drive successful implementation and adoption of change initiatives.


Role, Responsibilities, and Deliverables:

  • Collect the overall vision, mission, and business plan/objectives of the organization
  • Gather insights into current state culture and values.
  • Analyze the external environment and industry standards.
  • Define current processes and assess the level of technology/automation.
  • Develop and implement organizational design solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
  • Gather current state metrics and ratios.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings with client stakeholders to gather requirements and align on objectives
  • Analyze data and trends to identify root causes of organizational issues and develop actionable recommendations
  • Develop detailed future organization design and cost
  • Conduct individual and organizational change impact assessments.
  • Collaborate with client teams to implement change management strategies and ensure successful adoption of new initiatives
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to client leadership throughout the change process
  • Monitor and evaluate the impact of organizational changes and adjust strategies as needed


Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in organizational design, change management, or related consulting roles
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and develop actionable insights
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex organizational change initiatives
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working with logistics services is a plus
