WHAT YOULL DO
The Director, Technology Products and Services is responsible for understanding the organizations complete Technology footprint supporting all internal business processes and school operational technology, current and future. This individual leads the infrastructure, support, and product management teams to continually evolve Primrose Schools and remain a premium, highly efficient, and secure brand. They drive innovation in technology strategy, identify new technologies and trends, track system performance to achieve business goals, minimize risk, and increase user satisfaction.

This individual works with internal and external stakeholders on developing, acquiring, implementing, and maintaining the right systems at all levels of our business. The Director, Technology Products and Services will serve as principal for internal support center and school prescribed systems. This individual will report to the Chief Technology Officer in guiding, influencing, and executing present and future technology product strategy and roadmaps while managing operational performance of our support and security practices. The successful Director, Technology Products and Services will display the ability to influence without authority and drive wide-sweeping technology evolution across our support center and franchise-owned schools.

Understand the organizations Strategic Business Goals and Objectives; delivers products and services that support and enhance business outcomes.
Oversees both our Product and Operations teams
o Product team: evaluates existing and future processes; builds business cases for various product ideas; owns the product lifecycle from the strategic vision to implementation.
o Operations team: the management to adherence of our security practices and delivering premium support performance for our support center and system users
Ensures appropriate training, communication of team goals, and company initiatives
Partners with other organization leaders to effectively represent the role of technology in planning and execution while soliciting input on improvement to infrastructure, processes, or policies
Promotes high sense of data security and maintain premium technical support in all solutions, current and future
Leverage project management to ensure product implementation success; coordinates with key stakeholders and leaders throughout the implementation process.
Continually measures ROI and product effectiveness through product performance and quality tracking.
Prioritizes customer requests based on alignment to overall business strategy, ROI, and user need.
Architects design of technical solutions and programs while balancing dependencies and integration with other products across the organization.
Develop & maintain policies and procedures for the use of technology within the organization

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Our ideal candidate will possess a mix of the following skills and competencies:

7+ years related experience in developing solutions and managing projects

4+ years of leadership experience

Proven track record in deploying large scale, cross-functional applications and services across various disciplines in an enterprise organization

Strong capability in business process mapping and communication skills

Software Development Life Cycle, application/web development, or project management a plus

Bachelors degree in a technical discipline (Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering)

Experience working in a franchise operation a plus

Experience in business analysis in a retail or other fast paced environment a plus
  • Displays a blend of business and technical acumenunderstands both sides to effectively answer the what, why, and the how
  • Displays a strong technical focus in the realms of consumer/ commercial technology in a retail or service operation setting
  • Proven ability to create and manage documentation
  • Proven ability to deliver results while respecting time and budget
  • Displays strong project management and organizational skills; can oversee the entire project lifecycle
  • Proven ability to collaborate and manage multiple priorities while balancing competing requests/ projects
  • Proven ability to get work done through others and influence without authority
