Technologist - Radiologic Technologist - CT

Position Overview

Seasoned Recruitment is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Radiologic Technologist with CT experience to join our team. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures, including CT scans and X-Rays, at a technical level that does not require constant supervision. You will work closely with physicians, nurses, and other staff members to provide excellent patient care and ensure accurate and high-quality imaging results.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain imaging department equipment, including X-Ray, CT, CR reader, and PACS systems
• Perform diagnostic imaging exams in accordance with established procedures, regulations, and protocols
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process
• Assist physicians and other medical staff during imaging procedures
• Maintain accurate and complete documentation of all procedures and patient records
• Perform quality control checks on equipment and maintain a safe and clean working environment
• Stay updated on advancements in imaging technology and participate in continuing education programs as required
• Adhere to all regulatory and safety standards

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology
• Current certification as a medical radiologic technologist required
• CT certification preferred
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association
• Associate's degree in Radiology or related field preferred
• Registered Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in radiography
• Registered Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in computed tomography preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of radiologic/imaging experience preferred
• 1+ years of CT experience preferred
• 1+ years of emergency room experience preferred
• Proficiency with X-ray and CT equipment, manufacturer's hardware/software, and PACS systems
• Strong written and oral communication skills in English
