Senior Product Development Manager (Hybrid) We are looking for a full-time Senior Product Development Manager in NY, NY 10001 Company Overview: A successful, privately held apparel company located in NYC 10001 is seeking a full-time Senior Product Development Manager. In this role, the successful candidate will be capable of multi-tasking, effectively supporting the entire Product Development function and processes of the company. Responsibilities: Communicate daily with factories and overseas offices regarding all open product development issues, including samples, costing, and more. Create and build comprehensive Style Tracker to guide the production process accurately. Develop and implement time and action calendars to ensure timely project completion. Collaborate closely with merchandising and design teams to ensure products align with creative parameters. Manage samples received from factories and distribute them to appropriate departments within the organization. Enter costing data accurately into our systems for review and analysis. Take ownership of all packaging style guides for factories, ensuring consistency and compliance. Review Tech Packs and send them to factories for costing and production. Follow up daily on concept samples for apparel, including logging comments, communicating modifications with factories, and more. Conduct approvals for Production Managers when out of the office to maintain workflow continuity. Request fabric and new garment ideas from factories, building and maintaining a fabric library book. Ensure timely turnover of concept samples for market weeks and retailer meetings. Hand off comments and concept samples to production once styles are placed for manufacturing. Work Arrangement: Remote work: 2 days per week On-site presence: 3 days per week at the office Working hours: 8 AM to 5 PM Eastern Time Skills and Qualifications: 4 - 7 years of work experience in children's fashion, apparel, or consumer products industry. Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think independently when necessary. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including MS Excel (required), Adobe Illustrator/Power Point (preferred). Flexible and positive disposition with the ability to articulate viewpoints effectively. Ability to present a positive and polished self-image. Additional Responsibilities: Manage PD/Production team calendar for apparel and non-apparel. Lead PD/Production Weekly WIP Meetings for apparel and non-apparel. Attend Design handoff meetings and contribute valuable insights. Timely turnover of concept samples for market weeks and retailer meetings.
