• State Licensure Requirements: Valid Massachusetts state licensure as a Special Education Teacher is required.
• Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs, incorporating appropriate accommodations and modifications.
  • Provide direct instruction in academic subjects, life skills, and social-emotional development, utilizing evidence-based practices.
  • Collaborate with school personnel, parents, and support staff to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment for students.
  • Conduct ongoing assessments to monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress, IEP meetings, and communication with stakeholders.
