Minimum 1+ years Behavior Specialist experience required.

ProCare Therapy is actively seeking a dedicated and certified Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team for a contract position in the welcoming community of Soledad, CA. This is an exceptional opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students with behavioral needs within a school setting.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) to determine the root causes of challenging behaviors.
  • Develop and implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
  • Provide training and support to school staff, teachers, and parents on effective behavior management strategies.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create and implement individualized behavior plans for students.
  • Monitor and analyze data to assess the effectiveness of behavior interventions and make necessary adjustments.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of support plans.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Psychology, or related field.
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
  • Experience working with students with autism and other developmental disabilities.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to design and implement effective behavior interventions.
