Minimum 1+ years speech therapy experience required.
SLP-CCC or CF, Early Childhood

Calling on Speech-Language Pathologists (Clinical Fellows or ASHA-certified Speech Pathologists) with a passion for working with young students who need support in their language and munications development! Soliant is seeking a contract SLP who can work with children aged 3-5.

The applicant will be covering numerous locations in MonroeCounty, working with a range of Special Education centers, to daycare locations.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech Pathology or munications Disorders
  • Pennsylvania SLP license
  • (Case by case) Education specialist certificate from the PA Department of Education (Clinical Fellows can work with a pending certificate)

Additional information about the team, and the building assignments, will be shared in a direct interview with school administrators, following a successful phone screening with Soliant representatives.

As a education setting SLP, you will:

  • Assess students referred for possible speech and language needs.
  • Determine eligibility for speech services, and work with an interdisciplinary team to determine appropriate goals
  • Provide individual and/or group therapy sessions for childrenwith identified speech and language disorders.
  • Develop individualized education plans (for childrenwith special education needs)and present them to parents, school administrators, and others involved with student evaluations.
  • Consult with teachers, counselors, parents, nurses, and administrators on speech and language concerns.
  • Maintain accurate records for all childrenon the caseload.
  • Provide reports of children'sprogress to parents.
  • Organizecaseload and develop a schedule for each assigned school or classroom
  • Develop resource materials for use in speech and language development.
