• Caseload:1:1 caseload with Kindergarten student or 1st grader, placed based on previous experience
• Pay range:Up to $35/ hrbased on experience and qualifications

Job Summary: Soliant is currently seeking a dedicated School Sign Language Interpreter to join our supportive team. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide sign language interpretation services to facilitate munication between students who are deaf or hard of hearing and their teachers, peers, and other school staff.
• Support students in accessing classroom instruction, discussions, and other educational activities.
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and other professionals to ensure that students' munication needs are met effectively.
• Provide support during extracurricular activities, assemblies, and other school events as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Sign Language Interpreting, Education, or related field.
• Certification as a Sign Language Interpreter.
• Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL) and English.

• Strong munication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a supportive team.
• Dedication to promoting access to education for students who are deaf or hard of hearing.
