Job Description

Nick Corieri from Robert Half is working with one of his Syracuse clients that has a newly created Financial Analysis Manager hiring need. This position will be heavily involved in the company budget and reports directly to the CFO with supervisory oversight of one Financial Analyst. The main office is located in downtown Syracuse and this position has a hybrid-remote work schedule allowing you to work a couple days from home each week.

 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Ensure the accuracy and alignment of budgetary reports, income statements, cash flow statements, balance sheets, and dashboards.
  • Develop financial models, conduct benchmarking, and analyze processes to detect trends, offering actionable insights to the Chief Financial Officer.
  • Oversee the entire Budgeting Process for the firm, collaborating closely with the CFO and other department heads.
  • Evaluate business processes, pinpoint areas for improvement, and articulate requirements for technical solutions in partnership with business units and management.
  • Produce comprehensive financial analysis reports for management, utilizing SQL-based queries or tools to streamline data analysis.
  • Gather and communicate business and technical requirements from end users for projects or operational needs.
  • Prioritize and manage ad-hoc data analysis requests from end users while supervising the Firm’s financial analysts.
  • Provide support for special projects and perform additional duties as necessary.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Accounting, or Finance required (MBA and/or CPA preferred)
  • 5+ years experience in a related Accounting and/or Financial Analysis
