Job Description
Abacus staffing is currently looking for Greeters to work with Board of Elections.
DUTIES:
• Assist answering questions from voters regarding general election, including procedures, locations, and other voting information.
• Be friendly and positive and portray helpful attitude when interacting with voters.
• Be adept at handling voter inquiries concerning voting system and general election information in what could be fast-paced team
oriented environment.
• Provide assistance to and complete tasks assigned by LBE management or Chief Judge(s).
• Monitor polling place area to ensure secure environment and report any issues to Chief Judges and, when necessary, LBE.
SHIFT: Depending on requirements of SBE and LBEs, part time or full time.
No overtime.
For Early Voting: maximum of eight (8) hours a day.
For Election Day, up to fifteen (15) hours on election day.
PROJECT PERIOD:
The base work location shall be the assigned early voting center or election day
precinct and, for training, the training location. The estimated engagement is 8
days plus one training day. May be requested to work for multiple LBEs
depending on availability of the individual Greeter and needs of the LBEs. Travel
within and outside the LBE(s) but within the State may be requested.
