ProCare Therapy, a leading provider of educational staffing solutions, is seeking dedicated and passionate Special Education Teachers to join our team. We currently have multiple openings aroundGenoa, CO, for both full-time and part-time positions. Position Details:

  • 1 full-time position:

    • Early childhood specialization
    • Providing direct services to students
    • 32 hours per week
  • 1 part-time position:

    • Early childhood specialization
    • Providing direct services to students
    • 20 hours per week

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
  • Adapt instructional materials and strategies to meet the unique learning needs of each student.
  • Collaborate with other teachers, parents, and support staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Provide direct instruction and support to students, both in small groups and on an individual basis.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, and make necessary adjustments to instructional strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance and progress.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Valid Special Education teaching certification in the state of Colorado.
  • Experience working with students with special needs, particularly in an early childhood setting.
  • Knowledge of various instructional strategies and interventions for students with special needs.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
