Minimum 1+ years special education experience required.

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Early Childhood Special Education Teacher to join our team near Bluefield, VAto make a positive impact on the lives of students with special needs.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide instruction and support tailored to the unique learning needs and abilities of each student, using various teaching strategies and assistive technologies.
  • Monitor and document students' academic, social, and behavioral development, providing feedback and reports to parents, administrators, and relevant stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with parents and guardians, involving them in the educational process and maintaining open lines of communication.

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Special Education or a related field (state certification or licensure may be required).
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) effectively.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with parents, colleagues, and support staff.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time and resources effectively.

Job Details:

  • Contract forremainder of the school year.
  • Full-time / 32-40 hours per week

As an employee of Sunbelt, you will be paid weekly and your compensation package will be based off your needs. This is an hourly paid position, W2,that offers benefits for full time employees working over 30 hours per week.
