Customer Service Representative

Process orders, maintain customer records, prepare correspondence, and ensure orders are processed on-time and in-full.

1. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

¨ Responsible for customer orders; manual and EDI order entry, validation, and maintenance

¨ Communication with internal/external customers to ensure effective relations

¨ Maintain customer records in designated company systems; including customer notes, doc text, tax codes, addresses, sales part cross reference, lead-times, order confirmation set-up, ship notification set-up

¨ Ensure all orders are processed on-time and all exceptions are reported to the sales teams

¨ Assist accounting with information in regards to claims and fines

¨ Run and review daily reports on order status

¨ Obtain information from customers on requested RMA ‘s to send to accounting for processing

¨ Organize (file/scan) all CSR documents

¨ Obtain customer guides

¨ Document customer complaints to present to supervisor

¨ Responsible for special projects as assigned by management

¨ Promotes and maintains 6S principles throughout the facility

2. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

¨ High school diploma or equivalent, or one to three years’ experience in customer service, or an equivalent combination required

3. COMPETENCIES (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities)

¨ Must be able to transfer knowledge of policies and procedures

¨ Excellent communication (written & verbal), customer relations, interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills required

¨ Computer literacy, Microsoft Office products required

¨ Some travel may be required
