The Opportunity

This position can work out of our Austin, TX or Alpharetta, GA sites supporting the Medical Devices U.S. Sales Division. The Sr. Contract Compliance Analyst manages active commitment-based contracts from a compliance and legal perspective that the company offers to customers across the U.S. This role will perform activities surrounding compliance within corporate policies, federal policies, and the AdvaMed Code with respect to various commitment-based programs offered to hospitals and health care providers (HCPs). The Sr. Contract Compliance Analyst must understand the various corporate and federal regulations and guidelines for medical device companies, including but not limited to the USP&P, Anti-Kickback Statute, and Discount Safe Harbor Act. 

What You’ll Work On

  • Manage active capital equipment and/or invoice commitment programs within various medical device divisions such as Electrophysiology, Endovascular, Coronary, and Neuromodulation, as well as management of new programs and compliance initiatives should they arise.
  • Review and comprehend compliance and legal challenges at a high level and to facilitate complex discussions and problem solving for items, such as settlement negotiation, compliance strategy, program management, and design of future programs while maintaining positive relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Provide cost reporting documentation that summarizes bundled programs for our customers on an annual basis.
  • Execute disposable and capital revenue allocations for bundled rental and purchase programs.
  • Present compliance requests from Sales, reviewing them on weekly and/or monthly calls with the Office of Ethics and Compliance.
  • Partner with our Office of Ethics and Compliance on compliance strategy, updated company policies, and compliance related issues.  
  • Partner with Sales to strategize on capital equipment programs and their respective agreements, ensuring compliance is met while maintaining positive relationships and continued success with our external customers.
  • Develop and execute new compliance strategies as changes within the organization occur.
  • Execute compliance strategies developed for new capital equipment and/or software upgrades. Collaborate with Marketing, Contracting Management, and Sales (CSEs, AVPs, RSDs, etc.) in multiple divisions as the point-person for compliance related topics.
  • Facilitate discussions with Sales and Compliance around best practices and processes for successful compliance programs.
  • Assist in maintaining compliance tools within Excel (VBA Macros) and MS Power BI.
  • Facilitate continuous improvement to shape the team’s compliance management tools.
  • Follows all management approved processes and procedures; alerts management when circumstances require deviation to the approved processes and procedures, which includes understanding and complying with corporate US policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 4+ years of experience in business, legal, compliance or strategic pricing and contracting. 
  • Proficient in the use of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and preferably SharePoint and OneDrive VBA macros (preferred), data relationships, and Pivot Tables.
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills.
  • Strong analytical, strategic, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work seamlessly with remote sites & business partners including building relationship with Sales personnel to be highly effective.
  • Use of good judgment in this highly diversified, fast paced, high pressure environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Medical device industry experience.
  • Salesforce, SQL, and MS Power BI experience.

The base pay for this position is $72,700.00 – $145,300.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
