Job Summary:

Senior Helpers - of Portland/Vancouver, currently seeking a Caregiver to provide compassionate care to our senior clients in Northeast Portland, Oregon. As a part of our home care team, you will be responsible for assisting seniors with daily tasks and activities, promoting their independence and enhancing their quality of life. 
 

Schedule: Monday/Wednesday/Friday from 11:00 am- 3:00 pm

Compensation & Benefits:

- Salary range of $17 to $20 per hour, paid biweekly
- PTO
- Refer-a-friend bonus
- 401k

- Paid in-person training

Responsibilities:

- Provide assistance with activities of daily living, including dressing, and grooming
- Assist with meal planning, and preparation
- Complete light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, washing dishes, and tidying up
- Engage in meaningful conversation and activities with your client
- Monitor and document daily observations and changes of condition with your client
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of you and your client
- Maintain confidentiality of all client information at all times

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Reliable Transportation
- Ability to pass a thorough background check and drug screening
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Physical ability to bend, reach, and lift up to 25 pounds
