Hiring Company is a home maintenance company that works almost exclusively in finished homes. We maintain homes on a routine, systematic basis, and do any task from cleaning gutters to ensure all windows and doors are operating properly. We also offer small construction and handyman services, from installing new windows to remodeling kitchens or bathrooms. As a startup, we're looking for self-starters who are dedicated and want to grow at a fast-growing company.

Job Overview:

As a Project Manager for this firm you will be responsible for overseeing small construction projects and incoming client requests, ensuring timely and successful completion of projects while maintaining a high level of customer service with clients. You will manage a team of skilled tradespeople, coordinate with vendors and suppliers, and communicate with clients throughout project lifecycles.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Plan and manage projects and client requests from start to finish, ensuring that it is completed within the specified timeframe and quality standards.
  • Develop a project schedule, including milestones and timelines, and communicate progress updates to clients regularly.
  • Collaborate with and schedule an internal team of tradespeople, subcontractors, and suppliers to procure materials and supplies needed for the project.
  • Ensure that all work is done safely, according to regulations and standards, and to the high standards of clients living in finished high-end homes.
  • Monitor and manage estimates from subcontractors and vendors to ensure transparent costs to the client
  • Address any issues that arise during the project, such as delays, changes in scope, or unforeseen challenges.
  • Maintain a high level of communication with clients throughout the project, providing updates and addressing any concerns they may have.
  • Ensure that the project is completed to the client's satisfaction, including ensuring that the work area is clean and free of debris upon completion, and sending reports at the end of projects so the client has visibility of the work they are paying for.
  • Occasionally visit the jobsite when necessary to meet subs or set up the team.

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience in the construction industry.
  • Competency in reading and understanding drawings
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and construction practices.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel.
  • Procore experience preferred but not necessary
