Sure Steel, Inc. Is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a structural Engineer at Sure Steel, you will play a pivotal role in the design, analysis, and implementation of structural solutions for a variety of projects across multiple industries.


Responsibilities:

1.Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineers to develop innovative and efficient structural designs. Participate in project meetings and presentations to communicate technical information effectively to clients and stakeholders.

2.Perform structural analysis using software tools and manual calculations to ensure compliance with building codes and industry standards.

3.Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and technical reports.

4.Conduct site visits and inspections to assess structural conditions and provide recommendations for repair or reinforcement.

5.Review and interpret project specifications and contracts to ensure deliverables meet client requirements and expectations.

6.Coordinate with construction teams during the implementation phase to address any structural issues and provide technical support as needed.

7.Stay updated on industry trends, codes, and regulations to ensure designs are current and compliant.

Qualifications:

1.Bachelors degree in structural/civil engineering or related field; masters degree preferred.

2.Professional Engineer (PE) license required.

3.Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural engineering, preferably in the construction industry.

4.Proficiency in structural analysis software such as SAP2000, ETABS, or STAAD.Pro.

5.Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and industry standards.

6.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

7.Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

8.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

9.Experience with steel structures and familiarity with steel fabrication processes is a plus.
