The Strategic Growth Consultant will serve in an individual contributor role as the product and process expert for Members ATM Alliance (MAA), Members Core Alliance (MCA), and Leverage Payments Solutions (LPS). This position will be responsible for developing new business growth opportunities for the above business units, as well as maintaining and servicing existing portfolios. This individual will act as a liaison between key business partners that are utilized to perform services for financial institution clients.

As a Strategic Growth Consultant, your role involves negotiating contract terms and creating pricing structures for new and existing financial institution clients. You'll provide proactive, consultative support to help existing clients grow their solutions. Acting as both a process expert and sales & marketing consultant, you'll maintain open communication with clients, identify sales/service process gaps, propose solutions, and keep Management updated on client statuses. Your responsibilities include supporting new client transitions through face-to-face onboarding, collaborating with Business Development Consultants (BDCs) to expand business within the ACS/LEVERAGE footprint, and creating opportunities by gaining expertise in financial institution services. The role of the Strategic Growth Consultant involves pinpointing service and product utilization areas for clients transitioning from their previous service provider to guarantee a seamless implementation process. Your responsibilities include consistently furnishing Management with both written and verbal status reports on prospect status, conducting discovery calls, and playing a role in crafting responses for Request for Proposals (RFPs). Additionally, you'll be responsible for maintaining precise information in Salesforce by updating pertinent details of financial institutions. You will contribute to the consulting team's social media outreach and take charge of writing proposals and correspondence to prospects. This includes confirming conversations, addressing issues, and meticulously documenting resolutions.

Qualifications:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree from accredited four-year institution in marketing, business, finance, management, or other suitable degree preferred.
  2. 5-7 years of debit and/or credit card processing, ATM experience, and knowledge of data (core) processing.
  3. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  4. Knowledge of the history and philosophy of the credit union

Work Schedule:

In the role of Strategic Growth Consultant, the standard work schedule is Monday through Friday, with occasional commitments during evenings and weekends. Onsite presence in the office is required for a specified number of days, and frequent travel is expected, primarily within Alabama, Florida, and Georgia. Travel arrangements may involve both airline and car transportation, and possession of a valid driver's license is mandatory.
