We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team! The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for implementing and conducting the recruiting process from locating potential applicants via various sources, such as social media or resume searches to interviewing and offering positions to qualified applicants. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree with prior experience working as an in-house recruiter.

This is a full-time, exempt position located on site in Lancaster, PA. Hours are Monday-Thursday, 7:45 AM – 4:45 PM; Friday, 7:45 AM – 3:30 PM. Ability to work outside of normal working hours to cover recruitment events as needed a must.

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Works with hiring managers in various departments to define recruitment needs and plan the hiring process
  • Recruits for open positions from posting of positions, to prescreening of applicants, coordination of interviews, following up with managers, through preparation of offer letters
  • Works with employees through onboarding process including scheduling onboarding activities, ensuring paperwork is complete and all information is entered into the system
  • Source candidates on job boards, resume databases, professional networks and through referrals
  • Organize hiring events and participate in job fairs to network with potential candidates
  • Maintains Human Resource Information System records and compiles reports from database
  • Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations
  • Maintains employment records

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university and a minimum of 5 years of Human Resources experience OR any similar combination of education and experience
  • Prior experience working as an in-house recruiter
  • Hands-on experience with recruitment software and Applicant Tracking Systems
  • Prior experience working with ADP preferred but not required
  • Experience with social media recruiting

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet and professional. Occasionally required to enter a plant environment, which is usually moderate to loud, however, appropriate PPE is provided. Temperature of the factory is relative to the outside temperature.
