THE LOWER SHORE CLINIC IS GROWING!

We are building a new team and expanding our services thanks to a $4 million funding stream.

Now hiring for 4-day work week Monday -Thursday. You work 36 hours, but we will pay you for 40 hours.

Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Psychiatric Rehabilitation Specialist

ACT Psychiatric Rehabilitation Specialist Position Summary:

This position is part of an interdisciplinary team that provides quality evidenced based practices to clients living in the community struggling with behavioral health issues. This is a full-time position.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Initiate member assessments, develop person centered individual recovery plans, and document progress towards achieving goals, other related documentation requirements.
  • Positive role modeling for members and peers.
  • Provide psychiatric rehabilitation using evidenced based practices and facilitate groups once per week.
  • Provide quality services to fulfill the ACT mission of providing sanctuary and support to members in the community.
  • Assist in coordination of services provided to our members from other community agencies.

Qualifications, Education and Experience:

  • Associate degree in the Human Service field and/or two years of professional experience working with chronically mentally ill clients.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Full valid driver's license and safe driving record is required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • One year’s experience in teaching and/or social work is preferred.
