Banquet Server

Job Summary:
Ramada Plaza Nags Head Oceanfront is seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Banquet Server to join our team in Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina. This part-time hourly position in the hospitality/restaurant industry offers the opportunity for individuals to showcase their exceptional customer service and hospitality skills while working in a beautiful oceanfront location. The Banquet Server will be responsible for ensuring that all events and banquet functions are executed flawlessly, providing exceptional service to guests and maintaining the highest level of professionalism at all times.

Compensation & Benefits:
This position offers a competitive hourly wage of $18 to $20 per hour, paid biweekly. In addition, employees will have access to a range of benefits, including discounted hotel stays and opportunities for career growth and advancement within the company.

Responsibilities:
• Set up and prepare banquet rooms according to the event and function specifications
• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Serve food and beverages to guests, ensuring accuracy and presentation
• Monitor guest satisfaction and address any concerns or issues promptly
• Clear and clean tables and banquet rooms in a timely manner
• Restock and maintain banquet supplies and equipment
• Work efficiently with team members to execute events and functions seamlessly
• Follow all health and safety regulations and hotel policies
• Provide exceptional customer service, anticipating guests' needs and exceeding their expectations
• Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and responsibly
• Communicate effectively with event planners and other hotel staff to ensure smooth execution of events

Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a banquet serving or food service role preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
• Knowledge of food and beverage service standards and procedures
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service at all times.
