Job Description
New England Federal Credit Union is looking for a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join our growing team! This highly collaborative position will provide strategic HR advisory to Senior Leaders, mid-level managers and associates resulting in comprehensive human capital initiatives and programs to support and promote successful outcomes for the business. The position has a measurable impact on the success of the teams through providing human capital support, programs, and consultation.

Specific duties include:

  • Build and maintain partnerships to foster trust and accountability with all stakeholders.
  • Coach senior leaders and managers on how to improve their individual leadership skills.
  • Create and deliver on complex initiatives including those that are cross-functional and have broad impact.
  • Review and analyze complex, multi-faceted, and long-term business challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors.
  • Provide forward looking, prescriptive human resources-based consultation, resulting in comprehensive human capital support for a complex business or function.
  • Use understanding of business and enterprise goals to identify needs, opportunities, solutions, and risks relating to human resources programs and services, workforce productivity and engagement, organizational design and performance, talent management, and diversity and inclusion.
  • Assess and consult on the impact of human capital strategies, approach, class, and program offerings, make recommendations for adjustments or enhancements, and ensure execution of the human capital plan to achieve business and risk objectives.
  • Partner with executive and more experienced leaders to anticipate opportunities to influence and lead change that will improve individual, team, and enterprise performance.
  • Embrace the Human Resources Operating Model by proactively and effectively collaborating with internal partners to positively influence outcomes.
  • Leverage program offering across the organization.
  • Collaborate with peers to deliver to the organization.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Ability to effectively partner and influence at every level.
  • Knowledge and understanding of organizational design.
  • Strong project management skills
  • Experience working with subject matter experts within multiple human resources disciplines such as talent development, talent management, compensation, talent acquisition, performance management, diversity, equity and inclusion and employee relations.
  • Eight years to 10 years of Human Resources, Organizational Development, Consulting in a Business experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
  • A college degree in a related field preferred.
