Warehouse Supervisor Overnight

Summary/Objective

Motivate and develop our warehouse team to perform at their highest potential while improving relationships amongst employees, increasing the volume of activity in our warehouse. Ensure accuracy of essential warehouse functions. (Picking, Packing, and Receiving) Ability to be a hands-on leader and juggle multiple responsibilities at once. Actively look for new ways to improve efficiency in our warehouse operation, enabling us to increase our competitive advantage.

Essential Functions

  • Assist Management with leading and directing employee onboarding and training activities and the day-to-day core warehouse functions and activities.

  • Remain focused on meeting all logistics goals: productivity (LPWH), Quality (shipping and inventory accuracy), Cycle Count/Immediate Count, RGA cycle times, OnDemand delivery service, early am (UFirst) delivery service, will-call service.

  • Remain focused on keeping all eclipse warehouse queues current: invoice preview (manifest), in process, shipping manifest, transfer register.

  • Make recommendations and originate OFI’s to improve and increase efficiency.

  • Maintain facility in good repair and meet company safety and housekeeping standards.

  • Implement new processes and maintain compliance with company policies, standard operating procedures, federal and state labor laws, and OSHA and DOT regulations.

  • Review, audit and approve team payroll and warehouse operations expenses.

  • Implement company Logistics strategies, programs, new processes, and projects.

  • Works closely with all internal departments to help us achieve our mission, “To deliver exceptional service to our customers while maintaining the highest standards for courtesy, knowledge and ethics.”

  • Perform other duties as obvious or assigned.

Qualifications

  • A demonstrated history of individual and team development success in warehouse operations, inventory management & control.

  • Familiarity with OSHA and DOT regulations and reporting requirements.

  • Experience utilizing RF Scanners to manage many SKUs.

  • 5 years' experience in Warehousing/Operations management preferred.

  • Minimum High School Diploma: Associates degree or equivalent education preferred.

Required shift 6:00pm -2:30am Monday- Friday
