Summary:

Our award-winning client is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join their team. Join our dynamic team at MPI as a Mechanical Engineer and play a key role in creating innovative machinery! In this collaborative role, you'll develop mechanical designs, oversee projects, and actively participate in our LEAN culture to optimize processes and drive efficiency.


Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop mechanical components for our machinery, ensuring they meet project specifications.

  • Oversee mechanical aspects of projects, collaborating with electrical engineers and managing production support.

  • Create detailed project documentation, including bills of materials and user manuals.

  • Participate in daily LEAN meetings, identify areas for improvement, and help streamline mechanical processes.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree + 4-5 years of mechanical design experience (machine tools a plus).

  • Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, drawing practices, and tolerances.

  • Experience working with machine tools, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

  • Proficiency in SolidWorks and Microsoft Office.

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

  • Commitment to LEAN principles and continuous improvement.
