Construction Materials Technician Qualifications:

  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Basic math and good communication skills.
  • Possession of a valid New York State driver’s license.
  • Positive attitude, with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Construction Materials Technician Responsibilities:

  • Performing sampling and testing of soil, concrete, and asphalt materials on construction sites and in laboratory settings.
  • Working in an outdoor environment, enjoying hands-on tasks.
  • Upholding safety standards and procedures at all times.
