Stuteville Chevrolet Buick GMC has an immediate opening for a Quick Lane Service Advisor. As a Quick Lane Service Advisor, you are the customer's primary point-of-contact for all automotive service and repair needs. The Service Advisor must listen and thoroughly understand customer concerns and manage expectations on the part of the customers and the technicians in terms of service delivery. The ideal candidate for this position has a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to offer the highest customer service possible in a fast-paced environment. Minimum 2 years of automotive service advisor experience preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Promptly meet and greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Represent the dealership in a positive manner; providing exceptional personalized service to our customers.
  • Properly greet and assist all customers who are calling the dealership regarding vehicle service needs.
  • Clearly outline customer needs on the repair order with efficiency and accuracy.
  • Oversee service orders and flow of Drive Lane. Ensure that customers receive prompt, courteous, and effective service.
  • Research vehicle service history, inspect the vehicle, and recommends additional needed services.
  • Advise the customer of the importance of properly caring for their vehicle and the value of maintaining their vehicle.
  • Provide a complete and accurate written cost estimate for labor and parts.
  • Establish a "promise time" and follow up as needed.
  • Effectively communicate with the technicians working on the customer's vehicle.
  • Monitor the progress of the vehicle throughout the day; keeping the customer informed of the status of their vehicle.
  • Once the service on the vehicle is complete, meet with the customer and thoroughly review the work completed. Obtain necessary payment and signatures from the customer.
  • Conduct all business with sincerity, honesty, and genuine concern for customers as well as maintaining the highest customer service standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2 years minimum service advisor experience preferred.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic presence in a team environment.
  • Time management skills.
  • Ability to operate both standard and automatic vehicles.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
  • Excellent work ethic.
