Our Developmental Therapist collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to implement an intensive therapeutic program to provide a comprehensive approach to pediatric care. Developmental Therapist Schedule:

Monday-Friday 8am-430pm

Our Developmental Therapists Focus on the Following Interventions:

Early Childhood Development

DIR/Floortime Intervention

Play-based Intervention

Peer-learning

Family and Team Collaboration and Education

Job Requirements:

Illinois Developmental Therapist credential

Master's in Early Childhood Development preferred

Early Intervention experience preferred

Experience working with neurodivergent children

Blue Bird Day is an intensive therapy program for children ages 2-6 with autism, ADHD, and other developmental conditions. Our therapies are offered in a preschool-like setting, but instead of teachers, our "classes" are run by therapists. Our collaborative team provides occupational, physical, speech, developmental, ABA, and other therapies to help our clients reach their unique goals. We have locations in Chicago's West Loop and Northcenter neighborhoods and in Wheaton, and we're growing!
