Summary

This position is responsible for general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to company policies and procedures. This role is responsible for the operation of the pan and the press to ensure customer specification and HACCP are met.

Essential Duties / Responsibilities

• Confirm mill is coming out of continuous cooker from I-PEC to the presses.
• Siphoning off animal fat in the pan
• Ensure mill leaving press is dry and ready to move to the mill room.
• Replacing fat filters every hour
• Other duties as assigned.
• SCHDEULE: D SHIFT

Education / Experience

• High School diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions.
• Ability to communicate effectively with other personnel.
• Ability to work as a member of a team.
• Must follow all safety requirements.

Working Conditions:

• Hot, humid environment at times, as well as cold, wet conditions for up to 12 hour shift.
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs. on a frequent basis, including lifting at shoulder level or higher.
• Lift and carry up to 100 lbs. on an infrequent basis, including lifting at shoulder level or above.

Job Bid Requirements

• Should be a current, regular, full-time, or part-time employee.
• Must have no more than 4 points at the time of bid and when job begins.
• Should not have any active written warnings, final written warnings or on any last chance agreements.
• Been in your current position for at least six months and employed at SC Pet Solutions, LLC for at least six months.
• Must meet the job qualifications listed on this job posting.
