Key Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Ensure regular contact with assigned accounts, adhering to quarterly objectives.
  • Enhance product offerings across all accounts by comprehensively understanding their requirements.
  • Conduct on-site assessments to pinpoint opportunities, offer recommendations, present proposals, and secure contracts.
  • Foster connections with various stakeholders within customer organizations, including purchasing, maintenance, and tool crib departments, as well as other decision makers and influencers.
  • Follow up on internet leads specific to the market or customers.
  • Identify market gaps and formulate a strategic outreach plan for both new business acquisition and expanding existing accounts.
  • Proactively handle quote follow-ups and utilize the sales process to secure contracts.
  • Respond promptly to Requests for Quotation (RFQs) and Proposal Requests.
  • Maximize available resources to deliver exceptional customer service and comprehensive product/solution offerings.
  • Collaborate with Service Technicians at customer sites to identify opportunities and deepen customer relationships.
  • Effectively manage a portfolio of accounts while continuously scouting for new business prospects within the assigned market.

Must-Have’s & Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in sales or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum three (3) years of pertinent sales and industry experience, or an equivalent blend of education and practical experience.
  • Proficiency in computer usage, including essential familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and preferably Sage 100 ERP.
  • Proven ability in time management and organizational capabilities.
  • Familiarity with industry dynamics within a specific market.
  • Strong customer service orientation and/or background in sales.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to comprehend and interpret various business literature such as general business periodicals, professional journals, and technical procedures.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license with a documented history of safe driving.
