Field Service Technician

JOB SUMMARY:

Well Established Industrial Measurement & Weighing Equipment Distributor Seeking Service Technician

Compensation: Commensurate with experience
Full Time Employment, 40 plus hours per week. Company Vehicle provided
Must be able to obtain a Class B CDL (commercial driver's license)

• Perform or assist with set up, installations, calibrations, basic repairs and maintenance of weighing equipment and related products
• Work in a variety of environments
• Will work independently as well as with others

TASKS/DUTIES:

• Analyze routine equipment problems and make corrections in the field
• Electronic/Mechanical repair
• Interface with customers to supply technical assistance and support

REQUIREMENTS:

• Read and understand technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
• Good communication skills
• Operate or learn to operate a forklift
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Able to perform bending and repetitive motions
• Electrical and mechanical experience
• Knowledge of communication devices - including RS232, Ethernet connection, analog outputs, electronic and electrical controls - a plus

Requires valid driver's license (no DUI)
Must be 18 years old
Must be willing to take a pre-employment drug screen
