Overview:

As a Commercial Cleaner specializing in specialized services at A1 Contracting you will be responsible for providing a range of cleaning services, including window cleaning, tile grout cleaning, strip and wax floors, operation of floor cleaning equipment, and white glove cleaning. You will play a vital role in ensuring that our clients' facilities are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

Responsibilities:

Window Cleaning:

·         Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using appropriate cleaning solutions and tools.

·         Remove dirt, smudges, and streaks to ensure windows are crystal clear.

·         Work safely at heights using ladders or other equipment as necessary.

Tile Grout Cleaning:

·         Clean and restore tile grout to remove dirt, stains, and discoloration.

·         Use specialized cleaning solutions and equipment to achieve optimal results.

·         Ensure that tile surfaces are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized.

Strip and Wax Floors:

·         Prepare floors for stripping by removing furniture and obstacles.

·         Strip old wax and finish from floors using appropriate chemicals and equipment.

·         Apply new wax and finish to achieve a clean, glossy surface.

·         Buff and polish floors to enhance their appearance and durability.

Floor Cleaning Equipment:

·         Operate floor cleaning equipment, such as buffers, scrubbers, and carpet extractors.

·         Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning.

·         Follow safety protocols and manufacturer guidelines when using equipment.

White Glove Cleaning:

·         Perform white glove cleaning in high-touch areas to ensure thorough sanitation.

·         Use microfiber cloths and cleaning solutions to wipe down surfaces, fixtures, and furniture.

·         Pay close attention to detail to achieve a spotless and polished finish.

Client Communication:

·         Communicate with clients to understand their cleaning needs and expectations.

·         Provide exceptional customer service and address any concerns or feedback promptly.

·         Maintain professional demeanor and represent the company positively at all times.

Qualifications:

·         Previous experience in commercial cleaning, with expertise in window cleaning, tile grout cleaning, strip and wax floors, and floor cleaning equipment operation.

·         Knowledge of cleaning techniques, chemicals, and equipment specific to each specialized service.

·         Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

·         Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.

·         Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy objects as required.

·         Driver’s License

Education:

·         High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

·         Certification or training in specialized cleaning services is a plus.
