Benefits:
This person will assist with the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of a wide variety of products. Will function as primary point of contact and supervisor for Warehouse and Inventory Assistants [W1] when determining storage locations for finished product and supplies. The successful candidate will be able to proactively aid in implementing and executing relevant standard operating procedures to effectively perform day-to-day operations with minimal guidance. This position is full-time year-round position.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Responsible for organizing, cleaning, and maintain the warehouses
- Assist in warehouse compliance with OSHA guidelines, company policies, procedures and vision.
- Assist as needed with shipping, receiving, warehousing, and maintenance operations
- Transport and coordinate transporting of goods between facilities, as needed.
- Ensure efficient space utilization.
- Conduct physical inventory counts and rotate products if needed.
- Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene, and security.
- Execute standard operating procedures for inventory control and organization of raw and finished goods
- Safely operate a pallet jack and forklift
- Perform assigned preventive maintenance
- Manage incoming and outgoing orders including the necessary documentation
- Performing trailer inspections
- Coordinate with supervisors and managers to complete tasks and projects
- Coordinate with supervisors and managers to ensure departments have all necessary supplies for the White Marsh and Ordinary locations.
- Coordinate with Warehouse and Inventory Assistants to determine storage location of finished product
- Back up for store transfers when driver out
- May perform tasks for other departments
