We are looking to add to our manufacturing team in Neptune

  • Monday-Sunday 6:30pm-7am (rotating schedule with every other weekend required)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The following represents a list of essential duties and responsibilities: other duties may be assigned.

  • Operate machines, maintaining productivity, efficiency, and product quality.
  • Perform visual inspection and testing to ensure all products meet quality standards.
  • Reporting of data collection and coordinating with process techs and/or maintenance for machine errors and understanding.
  • Separate parts from runners by visually examining for: flow lines, long gates, shorts, splaying, flash, etc.
  • As needed, trim and clip excess plastic from parts.
  • Pick up bins of parts from shelves under molding machines.
  • Provide breaks as required by the team lead or supervisor.
  • Package parts in bags, totes, or boxes as applicable per work instructions.
  • Palletize product per work instructions.
  • Fill out QMSF-01016 Operator Reject Log according to company procedure.
  • Read playbook instructions before starting any job even if you trained.
  • Read work order number to identify materials and components, to use during shift production.
  • Keep workstations clean and neat at all times, assist daily with building cleanness, and company GMPS’.
  • Follow all SOP’s GMPS Good Documentation practices to meet customer expectations with high quality standards.

Minimum Skills and Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing work environment. Injection or blow molding experience is a plus.
  • Previous work experience shows good attendance levels, and that using effective problem-solving skills is highly desirable.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; knowledge of techniques, tools, machines, equipment, fixtures, and assembly procedures.
  • Must have good mechanical aptitude, good problem-solving skills, and intermediate computer skills to generate reports.
  • Demonstrate good judgment, decision-making abilities, and potential for growth within the company.
  • Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply & divide).
  • Experience with weigh scales.
  • Teamwork and communication Skills
  • Physical stamina and strength: must be able to stand 12 hours per shift; must be able to lift a minimum of 15 to 20 lbs.

Physical Demand

  • Light Work – Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of force greater than sedentary work and worker sits most of the time, the job is light work.
  • The worker is subject to inside environmental conditions: Protection from weather conditions, but not necessarily from temperature change.
  • The worker is subject to noise; there is sufficient noise to cause a worker to shout in order to be heard above ambient noise level.
  • The worker is subject to hazards; includes a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, working on scaffolding and high places, exposure to high heat or exposure to chemicals.
  • The worker is subject to oils; there is air and/or skin exposure to oils and other cutting fluids.
