Job Description
As a Prep/Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in delivering a high-quality dining experience to our guests, blending the essence of luxury camping with exquisite culinary offerings.

Key Responsibilities:
Food Preparation: Execute food preparation tasks, including chopping, cutting, and marinating, to ensure timely and efficient service. Adhere to recipes and quality standards to maintain consistency in taste and presentation.
Line Cooking: Work on the cooking line to prepare and plate dishes according to menu specifications. Coordinate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow during busy periods.
Menu Development: Collaborate with the Head Chef to contribute menu development ideas, considering the unique experience offered by a luxury camping resort.
Quality Control: Monitor and maintain high standards of food quality and presentation. Conduct regular inspections of ingredients to ensure freshness and adherence to safety standards.
Cleanliness and Sanitation: Follow proper sanitation and hygiene practices in the kitchen. Keep workstations clean and organized at all times.
Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with other kitchen staff to promote a positive and collaborative work environment. Assist colleagues during peak hours and support cross-functional teamwork.
Preferred Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Prep/Line Cook in a high-end or luxury dining establishment.
Proficient in various cooking techniques and preparation methods.
Ability to contribute innovative ideas to enhance the resort's culinary offerings.
Comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
Keen attention to detail in food presentation and quality.
Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Food Handlers Certification- required within 2 weeks of start of employment.
Additional Information:
Ability to independently lift 30lbs, demonstrating proper body mechanics
Ability to work outdoors for long periods of time, including extreme heat or cold weather conditions
Possible periods of prolonged standing and moving
Able to operate property vehicles
Navigating on slippery or uneven natural terrain
