Counter Sales/Driving Warehouse Associate

Looking for a Cool Job in a fast-paced environment with a dynamic team representing the industry leader in HVAC equipment? We have a need for a Counter Sales Associate and Driver Warehouse Associate in our Las Vegas, NV. branches. 

Counter Sales Associate: 

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. • Represent GEMAIRE as a leader in the industry ensuring maximum sales.
2. • Interact with internal and outside sales people, vendors and contractors.
3. • Responsible for showroom merchandising and re-stocking product.
4. • Assist in resolving customer relations problems with both dealers and end users.
5. • Complete sales order process for customers with efforts to up-sell associated items.
6. • Adhere to all safety requirements relevant to one’s regular job duties.
7. • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

1. • Minimum 1+ year experience in a Counter Sales role, preferably in the HVAC industry.
2. • Proven success in sales and providing excellent customer service.
3. • Strong interpersonal skills including sales, problem solving and customer service.
4. • Ability to work independently, but meet assigned goals and objectives in designated time frames.
5. • Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment.
6. • A willingness to learn and grow with our Company.
7. • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
8. • Proven commitment to customer service and a safe work environment.
9. • Knowledge of air conditioning, heating and ventilation equipment at a wholesale distribution level preferred.
10. • Experience in a wholesale HVAC equipment supply house preferred.
11. • Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree preferred.
12. • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred

Driver Warehouse Associate:

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. • Represent GEMAIRE as a leader in the industry.
2. • Daily loading and unloading of products.
3. • Assist with delivering and transporting HVAC freight and materials to customers.
4. • Receive, inspect and stock all merchandise.
5. • Verify all items received to items ordered for accuracy.
6. • Pick and verify orders for customers and prepare orders for shipment as needed.
7. • Collect invoices with proper signatures and return to Sales Center Manager.
8. • Responsible for daily checklist of truck and forklift maintenance and reporting in/out times with
9.     merchandise returns.
10. • Appropriate use and maintenance of OF device.
11. • Assist with physical inventory and inventory control.
12. • Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders and/or requisitions to determine items to be
13.     moved, gathered, distributed, or shipped.
14. • Provide excellent customer service to external customers.
15. • Ensure grounds and warehouse are kept neat, orderly, and safe for employees and customer
16.     traffic.
17. • Adhere to all safety requirements relevant to one’s regular job duties.
18. • Wear appropriate PPE.

In addition to the above responsibilities, this individual is held accountable for all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

1. • Minimum 24 months of verifiable experience driving a 16’ minimum box truck, or stake bed truck.
2. • Ability to multi-task and work within daily deadlines.
3. • Knowledge of common carrier (LTL) and full truckload logistics.
4. • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and provide superior service.
5. • A willingness to learn and grow with our Company.
6. • Must be 21 years of age or older.
7. • Proven commitment to customer service and a safe work environment.
8. • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
9. • Pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check
10. • CDL Class B license preferred (except when required in certain states)
11. • 6 months Warehouse experience including forklift operation preferred.
12. • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
13. • Knowledge of HVAC and truckload logistics is a plus.
14. • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.
