Part-Time Family Medicine Opportunity at Leading Behavioral Health Facility in Maine

Northern Light Acadia Hospital is seeking a part-time Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide extra weekend coverage. In this position, you will deliver compassionate medical care to patients on our adult and pediatric inpatient units on our campus in Bangor, Maine.

Position Details:

• Work closely with inpatient psychiatric providers
• Complete initial admission, history, and physicals as well as orders
• Address any follow-up medical care needs, follow-up on patient labs, etc.
• Respond to emergency medical needs throughout the hospital
• Requirements: (1) board-certified or board-eligible; (2) ACLS preferred (training offered)

Schedule:

• (2) 10-hour shifts on Saturday and Sunday
• Call responsibility: one week per month (overnight call is done by phone only)
• Some holiday coverage needed
