LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a family owned Oil & Gas company to hire an Accounting Manager in Cotati, CA.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly financial statements for review with CEO
- Reconcile monthly Bank, A/R, A/P and Sales Taxes Payable Accounts
- Ensure that all detail sales reports reconcile to the general ledger.
- Reconcile fuel inventory monthly and bring discrepancies to the attention of the CEO.
- Review all GL accounts for accuracy and unusual items monthly and bring unusual items to the attention of CEO.
- Reconcile loads delivered and billed to purchases per general ledger.
- Prepare and process semi-monthly payroll.
- Complete monthly union and non-union reports for health/welfare and pension plans. Process all collected union dues where applicable.
- Maintain company 401k plan. Reconcile payments between bank, Schwab and outside provider. Ensure that payments are made in compliance with the plan.
- Compute annual Profit-Sharing contribution for review with CEO and CFO.
- Manage Customer Service Representatives
Qualifications:
- Supervisory experience
Education:
- Bachelor's degree or 8+ years of experience
Skills:
- Strong understanding of financial statements and working with outside auditors
- Extremely detail oriented
