Touro Property Management is expanding and is searching for a dynamic leader to operate our newest acquisition in Irving, TX. If you are motivated and passionate about delivering a great customer service experience and leading a team, we want to hear from you.

Essential Functions:

The Community Manager is responsible for the following:

  • Meeting budgeted guidelines by ensuring all rents are collected and posted in a timely manner.
  • Overseeing and ensuring vendor contracted services are performed to standard.
  • Ensuring Net Operating Income objectives are met.
  • Researching and remaining aware of marketing and leasing trends to keep the occupancy goals for the community at or above goal.
  • Hiring and training staff.
  • Maintaining a positive, encouraging, and professional atmosphere in the workplace.
  • Motivating the on-site team to meet all operational goals.
  • Recommending staff termination as needed.
  • Physically inspecting the property daily to ensure make-readies and maintenance tasks are being completed efficiently and in a timely manner.
  • Promptly addressing any life safety or liability issues that could cause a danger to staff, residents, or guests.
  • Reporting all incidents to the corporate office immediately.
  • Ensuring lease files are properly executed and all records filed and stored properly.
  • Recommending policy and procedure changes to Executive Team as needed to maintain positive client communications and culture.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in property management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office. (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Organized.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams and secure leases.
  • Valid License or reliable transportation required.
  • Bilingual, English - Spanish required.
  • Appfolio experience is a plus.

Physical Requirements

  • 60% on your feet, 40% at a desk.
  • Bend, stoop squat.
  • Pick up litter.
  • Climb stairs to inspect and show community.
  • Open and close doors and cabinets.
  • Write and type.
  • Operate office equipment.
