Job Description

Marine Travelift is excited to be adding a full-time Utility Worker to our 1st & 2nd shift teams. This position will be working indoors and outdoors completing assignments at a large manufacturing facility. The Utility Worker is responsible for keeping the buildings, grounds, equipment and inventory clean, orderly, properly maintained, safe, and secure

1st Shift: Monday-Thursday 6:00AM-3:00PM; Friday 6:00AM-12:00PM (1/2 day Fridays)

2nd Shift: Monday-Thursday 2:30PM-1:00AM (3-day weekend)

Job Responsibilities

• Sweeping and picking up debris and scraps
• Snow removal and other outside work as needed
• Forklift operation to assist in loading & unloading materials
• Assist the paint department with sanding parts to prepare them for industrial grade paint
• Assist the shipping and receiving department when needed
• Maintain the warehouse in an efficient and orderly fashion
• All other duties and responsibilities that are assigned

Job Qualifications

• Dependable with a strong work ethic
• Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions
• Must have the ability to operate a forklift (training provided by MTI)
• Must have the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, and crouch for the entire shift
• Must be flexible and willing to complete all tasks that are assigned
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
