Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Appliance Repair Technician to join our team. In this role, you will travel to customers homes and businesses, install new appliances, and diagnose and repair their existing appliances. Responsibilities:
- Respond to client requests for appliance service
- Evaluate and diagnose home appliance problems
- Estimate the costs of appliance repair, service, and installation
- Repair appliances
- Provide preventative maintenance and warranty services
- Adhere to manufacturer recommendations
- Teach homeowners how to operate their appliances
- Maintain accurate and detailed records
- High school diploma/GED
- Associates degree or appliance repair certification preferred
- Previous experience as an Appliance Repair Technician is preferred
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record
- EPA 608 refrigerant recovery certification to work on air conditioners and refrigerators is preferred
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects
- Excellent customer service skills
