Veterinary Referral Center of Central Oregon is seeking a full time internal medicine veterinary technician hero who aligns with our values. The technician will work primarily under doctors from the internal medicine department.


Specific Duties Include Assisting In The Following Areas:

  • Triage, admit, and treat patients under doctor supervision
  • Perform physical exams and take thorough histories
  • Work in a team atmosphere with other departments in the hospital
  • Induce and monitor anesthesia
  • Assist with endoscopic, laser and other specialty procedures
  • Proficient at radiology and assist with other forms of advanced imaging procedures such as CT and ultrasound
  • Collect samples (blood, urine, biopsies, cytology) and perform in-house laboratory tests along with specialty tests sent to reference laboratories
  • Maintain a happy, collaborative and positive attitude under stressful situations

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Previous veterinary technician experience
  • Ability to learn new veterinary software
  • Must be a licensed Veterinary Technician
