Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Concrete Curb Foreman to join our team. As a Concrete Curb Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of concrete curb construction projects. This includes coordinating the work of crew members, ensuring safety standards are met, and maintaining high-quality workmanship.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of concrete curb construction workers, assigning tasks and providing guidance as needed.
  • Coordinate with project managers to plan and schedule work activities efficiently.
  • Ensure that all work is performed according to project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify any issues or potential hazards and take appropriate corrective actions.
  • Train and mentor crew members to develop their skills and enhance productivity.
  • Maintain accurate records of work progress, materials used, and equipment maintenance.
  • Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and inspectors.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Concrete Curb Finisher or similar role in the construction industry.
  • Proven experience with curbing machine.
  • In-depth knowledge of concrete construction techniques, materials, and equipment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with project stakeholders and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • OSHA certification and familiarity with safety regulations.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or training in concrete construction are a plus.
