Press Brake Operator

As a Press Brake Operator (also known as CNC Brake Press Operator, Metal Fabricator), you'll be responsible for setting up and operating CNC controlled press brakes, inspecting work, troubleshooting production problems, and ensuring adherence to company ISO and Quality standards. You'll work with a variety of materials, with tolerances ranging from +/- .010” to +/- .030”, and thicknesses from .036 gauge to .500. This role involves frequent set-ups and a mix of small to medium quantity runs.

• Minimum High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in setting up and operating a Press Brake.
• Strong mathematical aptitude and ability to read and understand job specifications, shop drawings and blueprints.
• Experience inspecting parts using various dimensional tools such as calipers, micrometers and gages.
• Good judgement, decision making and communications skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for 8-12 hours.
