Job Announcement - School Bus DriverQuitman County School District is currently seeking reliable and safety-conscious individuals to join our team as Part-Time School Bus Drivers. As a crucial member of our transportation department, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe and timely transportation of students to and from school.Position: School Bus DriverLocation: Georgetown, GeorgiaType: Driver
Responsibilities:1. Safely operate a school bus on assigned routes, following established schedules and traffic laws.2. Ensure the safety and well-being of students during transportation, including the proper use of seat belts and other safety measures.3. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus to ensure it is in good working condition.4. Maintain order and discipline among students while on the bus.5. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff.6. Follow all established policies and procedures related to student transportation.Qualifications:1. Valid [State] Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with school bus (S) endorsement.2. Clean driving record.3. Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.4.
