UVMMC Parking Attendant / Cashier

UPP Global is a growing full-service parking management company with expertise in all verticals of parking. We are active in 8 states along the Eastern Seaboard with over 300 locations! We are looking for a friendly and dependable parking cashier for our UVM Medical Center facility in Burlington, VT.

- Full time hours (30-40hrs/wk) daytime schedule

- This position is eligible for a $500 sign-on bonus!!

- Monday through Friday

Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome guests and parkers
• Maintain a pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor with all guests, parkers, co-workers, and clients
• Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests and parkers
• Provide exceptional hospitality services to guests and parkers in an attentive, friendly, and efficient manner
• Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests, parkers, co-workers, and clients
• Assist with directions, taxis, reservations, information about amenities of the facility and other inquiries as needed
• Maintain booth cleanliness by picking up trash, cleaning signage, and other general lot maintenance
• Responsible for money handling of a cash drawer and accountability of those funds
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Reliability is a must
• Be proficient with mobile applications, hand-held electronic devices, and computers
• Willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Must be comfortable sitting, standing, walking, running, driving and being active for most of the day
• Must be at least 18 years of age and able to pass a criminal background check
• Possess strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to lift, push and pull at least 50 pounds
• Must have a good work ethic and be a team player
