Quality Assurance Manager

The Quality Assurance Manager will be responsible for assuring the quality of manufacturing process and assembly of PALIoT pallets. This role creates, maintains, and is held accountable for establishing high standards related to the final product.

1. Essential Job Functions

• Quality Assurance:
• Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure high quality pallet, compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
• Conduct regular quality audits and inspections of manufacturing processes, materials, and finished products.

2. Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities for improvement and work with production teams to implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and enhance overall efficiency.
• Implement systems for continuous monitoring of production processes to proactively identify and address potential quality issues.

3. Quality Control

• Establish and maintain quality control measures to maintain consistent production quality.
• Monitor and inspect raw materials, components, and finished products to ensure they meet quality specifications.

4. Testing and Analysis:

• Oversee the testing and analysis of pallets to determine their strength, durability, and compliance with industry standards.
• Use testing data to identify trends, address issues, implement improvements, and perform root cause analysis.

5. Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of quality inspections, test results, and non-conformance reports.
• Generate regular reports on quality metrics and performance indicators for management review.

6. Training and Development:

• Provide training to production staff on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and quality awareness among team members.

7. Customer Satisfaction:

• Collaborate with customer service teams to address quality-related concerns from customers.

8. Regulatory Compliance:

• Stay informed about industry regulations and standards related to pallet manufacturing.

• Ensure the plant's operations comply with relevant quality and safety regulations.

Position Requirements:

• Must have a positive and friendly attitude.
• 7+ years experience in quality management role within manufacturing environment.
• 3+ years with direct supervisor/manager experience.
• Strong management, leadership, organizational, and administrative skills, able to multi-task and stay cool under pressure.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• High level of attention to detail
• Demonstrated proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Proficiency in technology and varying quality systems.
• Additional position preferences:
• A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as industrial engineering, quality management, or related discipline.
• Experience in a start-up environment.
